The street lighting of the small settlements of the municipality, as well as four Dimitrovgrad neighborhoods, is about to be replaced under a launched public procurement under the project "Construction of an outdoor artificial lighting system (street lighting) of the settlements of Dimitrovgrad Municipality and the neighborhoods of Mariyno, Vulkan and Chernokonevo". The estimated value of the contract amounts to BGN 863,366. Offers will be accepted until May 8, 2024.

Candidates must submit proposals for the delivery and installation of lighting fixtures described in the specifications. Dismantling of the currently existing ones is also required. The activities should be carried out in the Dimitrovgrad neighborhoods on the left bank of the Maritsa River, in Merichleri, as well as in the villages of Bodrovo, Brod, Bryast, Velikan, Voden, Varbitsa, Golyamo Asenovo, Gorski Izvor, Dlgnevo, Dobrich, Dolno Belevo, Zdravets, Zlato Pole. And also in Kasnakovo, Krepost, Krum, Malko Asenovo, Radievo, Raynovo, Svetlina, Skobelevo, Stalevo, Stransko, Chernogorovo and Yabalkovo.

The project funds have been allocated under the National Recovery and Sustainability Plan.
