WORKING MEETING ON PREVENTION AND SECURITY
Representatives of the police, local government and institutions held a working meeting in Dimitrovgrad municipality. The meeting was attended by the Head of Police Department Haskovo - Mr Chavdar Georgiev, his deputy Mr Ivan Rasokov, the head of the local Police Department Dimitrovgrad - Mr Hristiyan Hristov, the mayor of the municipality - Mr Ivo Dimov, his deputy Mr Svetoslav Stoykov, municipal councilors, the management of municipal units, schools and kindergartens’ principals.
The participants discussed issues related to security, the preservation of public order, the traffic safety situation, good practices and upcoming joint initiatives in the line of prevention with children and students.
The low levels of crime in the municipality are an indicator of the successsful activity of the police officers and their goog job , Mr Georgiev underlined.
The working formats are a series of meetings with mayors, municipal councilors, and principals of educational institutions with the aim of selecting the interaction in terms of prevention and ensuring the security of the municipal territory under the professional leadership of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
