Specialized training in the field of climate has ended
The implementation of specialized training in the field of climate within the framework of project BGENVIRONMENT-4.004-0001-C01 "Increasing the ability of the municipalities of Dimitrovgrad, Lyubimets and Zlatograd to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and adaption to the changing climate", financed by the Programme "Environmental Protection and Climate Change" of the FM of the EEA 2014-2021 has been completed. The training took place within 4 days spread over the period from December 19, 2023 to February 20, 2024, and included various presentations on climate change mitigation and adaptation, incl. European and national program and methodological documents, good practices from Norway and Bulgaria for sustainable mobility, land use, construction, energy efficiency, waste and natural disaster risk management, preparation of planning documents in the field of climate, opportunities for financing climate projects from the EU and other national programs. Experts from the municipalities of Dimitrovgrad, Lyubimets and Zlatograd and representatives of other interested parties took part in the training.
