INVITATION
The Municipality of Dimitrovgrad invites all residents of the city of Dimitrovgrad, who use for heating their homes stationary individual and multi-family domestic wood and coal heating devices, to apply for their replacement with environmentally friendly alternative ones that use electricity or pellets as fuel.
Domestic heating with wood and coal is a major source of air pollution in Dimitrovgrad municipality. The replacement of appliances using wood and coal with alternative ecological sources of heating aims to improve the quality of the air and to protect the health of the residents of the municipality.
The municipality of Dimitrovgrad provides funding for the implementation of measures in this direction, starting the implementation of project No BG16FFPR002-5.001-0010 "For cleaner air in the municipality of Dimitrovgrad" under the "Environment" Program 2021-2027, financed by the European fund for regional development and the national budget of the Republic of Bulgaria.
Each approved applicant will receive free of charge:
1. Dismantling the replaced wood and coal heating device, removing it from the home and handing it over for recycling,
2. Delivery and installation in the home of a selected new heating device,
3. Instruction on site upon delivery, as well as written instructions for operation and maintenance of the new heating device,
4. Warranty and warranty service of the new heating device within the warranty period, subject to compliance with the requirements for proper operation and maintenance by the end recipient,
5. One-time technical preventive inspection of the new heating device after the first heating season.
The conditions and application procedure are described below following the requirements, set by the Governing Body of the Environment Program 2021-2027.
Dimitrovgrad Municipality provides a wide range of ecological heating devices. The applicants can choose the most suitable according to their wishes and the specifics of their home.

Deadline and place for submission of application documents:
The deadline for submitting the application documents is from 20/05/2024 to 31/07/2024. Documents are submitted every working day from 09:30 to 18:00 at the Project office, located at the address: Dimitrovgrad, 5 Tsar Simeon Str.
Upon submission of the documents, the receiving officers perform a full on-the-spot check for completeness of the completed form and accompanying documents. The data from the Application Form are entered into an electronic register of applicants only upon submission of all required documents. A registration number is given to the applicant after filling all the information.

The Municipality of Dimitrovgrad will publish an invitation to the approved candidates to sign a contract with the municipality to receive the selected heating device free of charge. The draft contract has been published for the information of citizens to this Call for Applications/Invitation.
If the approved candidate refuses to participate before the contract is signed, the municipality informs the next ranked candidate and concludes a contract with him/her.
The municipality will promptly inform the approved candidates about the estimated date for concluding a contract depending on the delivery schedule of the heating devices.
