EXHIBITION ‘READING DURING THE SOCIALISM ERA: GERMAN DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC & PEOPLE REBUBLIC OF BULGARIA’ – OPENING AND DISCUSSION
The exhibition "Reading through Socialism" and a discussion on the topic "Literature through Socialism" with the participation of Prof. Plamen Doynov, Rector of New Bulgarian University, Ph.D. Maya Angelova-Anastasova, lecturer at the Department of "Bulgarian Literature" at the University of Veliko Tarnovo and Dr. Georgi Gochev from New Bulgarian University, will be orzanized on 16.11.2023 (Thursday) at 17.00 pm in the House-Museum "Penyo Penev". Prof. Momchil Metodiev from New Bulgarian University will open the discussion meeting for citizens and guests.
The exhibition is under the Federal Foundation for the Study of the Communist Dictatorship in Germany, with author Stefan Vole, supplemented by the Sofia Platform Foundation, the Institute for the Study of the Recent Past, and New Bulgarian University. The exhibition is presented with the support of the Konrad Adenauer Foundation and the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany in Bulgaria.
