DIMITROVGRAD MUNICIPALITY STARTED REPLACEMENT OF THE STREET LIGHTS IN THE MUNICIPAL VILLAGES
The Municipality of Dimitrovgrad has started the activities to replace the street lighting in the villages, where the current lamps will be replaced with energy-saving lighting. The replacement of street lighting in small settlements is carried out under the project "Construction of a system for external artificial lighting in the settlements of the municipality of Dimitrovgrad and the neighborhoods of Mariyno, Vulkan and Chernokonevo" with contract No BG-RRP-4.025-0038, procedure BG-RRP-4.025 "Support for energy-efficient street lighting systems - call 1", priority axis "Low-carbon economy", National plan for recovery and sustainability of the Republic of Bulgaria.
The new street lighting will be implemented in the town of Merichleri and the villages: Bodrovo, Brod, Bryast, Velikan, Voden, Varbitsa, Golyamo Asenovo, Gorski Izvor, Dlagnevo, Dobrich, Dolno Belevo, Zdravets, Zlato Pole, Kasnakovo, Krepost, Krum, Malko Asenovo, Radievo, Rainovo, Svetlina, Skobelevo, Stalevo, Stransko, Chernogorovo, Yablkovo, as well as the three city districts: Mariino, Vulkan and Chernokonevo. The value of the project is BGN 1,076,000 (including VAT).
The strategic goal of the municipality is to increase the energy efficiency of the system for outdoor artificial lighting, to reduce the consumption of electrical energy, while maintaining a high quality of lighting, through its technological renewal and modernization, which will improve the living conditions of the population.
