THE LONGEST MESSAGE "PROUD BULGARIANS" WILL BE PRESENTED ON NATIONAL LIBERATION DAY - MARCH 3RD IN DIMITROVGRAD
The longest message "Proud Bulgarians", located on a 148-meter white canvas, the length of which symbolically corresponds to the years since the Liberation, will be presented in Dimitrovgrad on the National holiday - March 3rd. All schools from the Dimitrovgrad municipality participated in the creation of the impressive message. The initiator of the event is the Primary School ‘Pencho Slaveykov’, which is implementing a project under the program "Dimitrovgrad of the Young People", financed and supported by the Dimitrovgrad Municipality. The messages are expressed through poems, excerpts from songs, symbols, drawings, images and other creative elements, realized on the canvas with materials used in the visual arts education process. Nearly 200 students and teachers will participate in the presentation of the impressive message at 10:30 a.m. on March 3.
The national holiday will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Bulgaria Square with a ceremony of raising the national flag of the Republic of Bulgaria with the participation of military personnel. After that, with a solemn procession along the central Bulgaria Boulevard to the memorial monument of the liberators, where wreaths and flowers will be laid in memory of those who died for the freedom of the Motherland, citizens and officials will pay their tribute to the heroes of National Liberation. The celebration will continue on the central city square at 10:30 a.m. for the presentation of the longest message "Proud Bulgarians". The program will continue with a festive concert.
