THE BLOCK, 9 PATRIARH EVTIMII STREET, HAS BEEN RENOVATED FOR IMPROVED ENERGY PERFORMANCE
Today, the renovated apartment block was officially opened by the Deputy Mayor of Dimitrovgrad Municipality Mr. Yasho Minkov and the Manager of the Association of Owners, Mr. Kolyu Bachvarov. The ceremony was also attended by the project manager Ms. Anka Hristova, representatives of the contractor company, media representatives, residents of the building and a dozen of citizens.
Previously, at the closing press conference, the project manager reported the successful completion of the activities and presented the results achieved under the project "Support for Sustainable Energy Renovation of the Residential Building Stock - Stage I", the Recovery and Resilience Mechanism of the Republic of Bulgaria, Lot No. 2 - "Multi-family residential building in the city of Dimitrovgrad, 9 Patriarh Evtimii Street".
It was emphasized that the successful implementation of the project is the result of the good partnership between all participants, the professional work of the contractors and the active support of the residents of the building.
"I am pleased to announce that all planned activities were implemented within the specified deadline, which was extended until July 31, 2026. This is evidence of the good organization, effective management and responsible attitude of all parties involved. The total cost of the project amounts to EUR 415,009.19 including VAT, of which EUR 346,461.87 is a grant under the Recovery and Resilience Mechanism, EUR 67,933.77 represents a non-refundable value added tax provided through complementary national financing from the budget of the Republic of Bulgaria, and EUR 613.55 is the lead partner's own contribution. The managing authority is the Ministry of Regional Development and Public Works, the lead partner is the Municipality of Dimitrovgrad, and the final recipient is the Association of Owners. The project was implemented under the National Recovery and Resilience Plan, priority axes Low-carbon Economy, under procedure "Support for sustainable energy renovation of the residential building stock - Stage I", sub-measure 1 "Support for sustainable energy renovation of the residential building stock", part of investment C4.I1 "Support for renovation of the building stock", contract number BG-RRP-4.023-0444 "Multi-family residential building in the city of Dimitrovgrad, 9 Patriarh Evtimii St. A number of construction, installation and energy-saving activities were implemented within the project. All these measures have one main goal - to ensure higher energy efficiency, lower energy consumption, lower household costs and a more comfortable living environment for residents. As a result of the project, the building reached energy consumption class "A", which is a significant success and guarantees a long-term positive effect for both the owners and the environment. ", reported the project manager Ms. Hristova.
Deputy Mayor of Dimitrovgrad Municipality Mr. Yasho Minkov added that with the successful completion of the project, Dimitrovgrad Municipality once again demonstrates its consistent policy of improving the housing stock, increasing energy efficiency and creating better living conditions for its citizens.
The manager of the association of owners Mr. Bachvarov expressed gratitude on behalf of the residents for the repairs.
