The solemn evening continues in Merichleri on the occasion of 42 years since its declaration as a city. The program begins at 5.30 PM with the laying of wreaths and flowers in front of the memorial plaque in front of the city hall. The festive evening includes also a musical and poetic program by community centers, performances by a male folklore group, festive dances and fireworks.
