COMPETITION FOR SUPPORT OF BOOK PUBLISHING
Pursuant to Ordinance № 41 and Decision №464 / 22.12.2016 of the Municipal Council - Dimitrovgrad
MUNICIPALITY OF DIMITROVGRAD
ANNOUNCES
A competition for financial support of book publishing for 2021
Financial support for book publishing is provided in the following areas and literary fields:
1. fiction;
2. literary studies;
3. history, culturology, and historical research, with priority concerning the region of Dimitrovgrad , publications with contribution to the cultural image of the city and the municipality.
The right to apply for financial support have:
1. Individuals;
2. Community centers and non-profit legal entities.
Applicants must meet the following conditions:
1. Address registration and a permanent address on the territory of Dimitrovgrad Municipality;
2. Address of management on the territory of Dimitrovgrad municipality (for community centers and NPOs);
3. Not to be financially supported under the same Ordinance during the last two years;
4. Not to have been awarded other local or national financial support for the project they are applying for;
5. One applicant cannot apply with more than one project;
6. No funds shall be allocated for republishing of already published works;
7. Expenses for presentation, advertising and book distribution of the publication are not financed.
Within the framework of the announced competition, the candidates should submit documents to the Municipal Administration - Dimitrovgrad, 15 “G. S. Rakovski ”, Desk for Information and Services for Citizens № 1. The set of documents must contain:
1. Manuscript of the project on paper and, if possible, on electronic media;
2. Short annotation;
3. Creative biography of the candidate;
4. Notarized power of attorney;
5. Declaration from the applicant;
6. Project budget - an offer from a publishing house, containing the technical parameters and project cost for publishing the book;
7. Expected financial support from the Municipality of Dimitrovgrad.
Deadline for submission of application documents: April 29, 2021.
