DIMITROVGRAD MUNICIPALITY ANNOUNCES:

            Competition for projects from citizens for landscaping and improvement of inter-block spaces and gardens.

           Deadline for submission of projects - 31.08.2024. 

           Deadline for approval of projects proposals - 10 days after the expiration of the announcement.

Purpose of the competition:

• improving the urban environment
• improving the inter-block spaces environment
• engaging citizens in the protection of green areas in the city

Proposed projects must meet the following requirements:

1. to improve the quality of life and the living environment
2. to increase the attractiveness of the city

Condition for participation:

     A condition for participation in the competition is that the citizens are registered under the Condominium Management Act. 

Manner of application and  evaluation:

     Required application documents: ­

1. Form for participation

          The project proposal must include:

• Detailed description of the project activities;
• Quantitative and value account of the activities;
• Drafted inter-block space with marked places for carrying out the planned activities
• Photographic materials

The project activities that will be funded may include: cleaning and restoration of unsupported terrains, landscaping, creation of recreation areas in inter-block spaces, installation of gazebos, benches, waste bins, children's facilities, sports facilities and other park furniture.

Ineligible for financing activities are: replacement of pavements around residential buildings, construction of parking lots, construction work.

The form for participation with the attached documentation should be submitted to the following  address: Dimitrovgrad Municipality, 15 Rakovski Blvd.

The evaluation is performed by a commission, appointed by Order of the Mayor of Dimitrovgrad Municipality. The best projects proposals shall be financed by the Municipality with the sum of BGN 5 000 for each project. The funds will be provided by the Municipality of Dimitrovgrad to the house managers after the completion and approval of the project activities, and reporting with the necessary documents.   

Criteria for evaluation and ranking of projects

1. Number of users

 - up to 20 people - 2 points 

 - from 20 to 40 people - 5 points

 - over 40 people - 10 points

2. Co-financing 

- from 1% to 10% - 2 points

- from 10% to 20% - 5 points

- more than 20% - 10 points

3. Sustainability of the project -10 points:
