DIMITROVGRAD CELEBRATES ITS 79th ANNIVERSARY WITH A RICH PROGRAM - B.T.R., TONI DIMITROVA, DEEP ZONE PROJECT, VICKY ALMAZIDOU, NELINA, AND AN IMPRESSIVE PYROTECHNIC SHOW
August 26 - September 2, 2026, Dimitrovgrad celebrates its 79th birthday with impressive events that will transform the city into a stage for music, sports, culture, and art. The Municipality of Dimitrovgrad has prepared a rich festive program aimed at people of all ages, with concerts by favorite Bulgarian performers, theater events, art exhibitions, sports tournaments, open-air cinema, and a lot of interesting initiatives for children. During the eight festive days, residents and guests of the city will be able to enjoy a variety of events at different locations in Dimitrovgrad.
The culmination of the celebrations will be on September 2 with the presentation of the calendar 2026/2027, the solemn session of the Municipal Council, and the festive concert on Bulgaria Square with the participation of the rock legends B.T.R., as well as a unique pyrotechnic show in the sky over the city.
During the period August 30 - September 2, residents and guests will be able to visit the Crafts Alley and the Farmers' Market, which will offer products from master craftsmen and local producers.
The Municipality of Dimitrovgrad invites you to share the holidays and celebrate the 79th anniversary together.
