TRAINING EQUIPMENT AND FACILITIES WERE DONATED TO THE TEMPORARY ACCOMMODATION CENTER

Bodybuilding champion and honorary citizen of Dimitrovgrad Mr Dobri Delev provided equipment and facilities for training free of charge to the Center for Temporary Accommodation. The devices will be available for use by the residents, and the idea for the donation came when the manager of the Center saw how 22-year-old Daniel, who has recently become one of the residents of the social center, trains with improvised bars made of materials at hand. This prompted the manager of the center, Mr Borislav Borisov, to seek the assistance of the Municipality of Dimitrovgrad and Mr Dobri Delev.

"Thanks to them, this dream has come true and he, like the rest of the residents, will be able to use the fitness equipment. It is said: a healthy mind - a healthy body" said the manager, Mr Borislav Borisov, and thanked Mr Delev for the donation and the gesture.

"The new equipment will be available for him and for the other people in the center," said the bodybuilder and honorary citizen of Dimitrovgrad, who is also the owner of one of the popular fitness centers in Dimitrovgrad.

"I like to do sports in my free time", said Daniel, who is from Plovdiv. He grew up in homes. He was placed in the center in Dimitrovgrad about a month ago.

The center for temporary accommodation in Dimitrovgrad is the only one in Haskovo region with the capacity to accommodate twenty people. It currently accommodates 16 users. The center provides food and shelter for people in crisis. They can stay in it for up to 6 months.
