MERICHLERI CELEBRATES 40 YEARS OF ITS PROCLAMATION AS A CITY WITH A THREE-DAY PROGRAM
With three days of celebrations, Merichleri will mark 40 years since its declaration as a city and 115 years of Independent Bulgaria. The program begins on September 21 (Thursday) with the presentation of the book MARBAS by Acad. Vasil Sgurev and Eng. Penko Ganev. On the 22nd, 17.00 - laying of wreaths and flowers in front of the memorial in front of the town hall. Half an hour later, the music-poetry program will begin on the square with the participation of local community centres from the region. At 19:00, the talented Georgi Kostadinov, who became famous for his participation in "The Voice of Bulgaria", will sing especially for the residents and guests of Merichleri. On Saturday, the program continues with a celebration for the little ones at 10:00 a.m. with ‘Fun Children's Morning’. At 18.00 - the folklore program with the participation of folk group "Thracian rhythms" and the vocal group of the Hristo Botev 1902 Community Centre and Slavyani Orchestra Stara Zagora.
