RESEARCH AMONG THE RESIDENTS OF DIMITROVGRAD WHO USE SOLID FUEL
Dear residents of Dimitrovgrad,
In connection with the implementation of the project for replacement of solid fuel heating appliances with alternative heating devices, Dimitrovgrad Municipality conducts a preliminary survey among households in the town of Dimitrovgrad, which are heated with wood and coal. The survey is conducted through a questionnaire, and so far those wishing to participate in the survey called 0882 518 804 to provide their name and phone number
Then an expert from the project team contacts the reported phone number and fills in the answers to the questions from the questionnaire by phone. This approach will continue to be applied in the future.
For the convenience of the interested households, which are heated with wood and coal, the municipality provides an opportunity to fill in the questionnaire not only by phone but also in two other ways:
1. Completion of a questionnaire printed on paper and distributed in multi-family and single-family buildings in the town of Dimitrovgrad. The questionnaire will be distributed in envelopes with the name of the project written on it. You must place the completed questionnaire in a specially placed box in front of the municipal building at a time convenient for you. In case you forget to take an envelope from the ones distributed in the residential buildings, you can call 0882 518 804 and inform the address to which the questionnaire will be sent.
2. To download the published questionnaire in electronic form from the website of the municipality, to fill it in electronically and to send it to e-mail: [email protected]. The other option is to print the questionnaire, fill it in on paper and put it in a specially placed box in front of the municipal building.
It should be noted that the completion of the questionnaire will help to the greatest extent the subsequent completion of applications for household participation in the project of replacement of heating appliances. Completion of the current stage of the questionnaire does not abolish the requirement to submit applications for participation when the municipality officially sends the invitation to apply. We will take into account the situation in the country and, if possible, will issue an invitation to apply after middle of May 2020. The start of the process will be widely announced to citizens and there will be enough time to apply.
Municipality of Dimitrovgrad is grateful to all citizens who support the efforts of the municipal administration and management to improve air quality by replacing wood and coal heaters with environmentally friendly ones.
