The holiday of Dimitrovgrad again will offer a weekly program full of various concerts, exhibitions and sports tournaments in terms of genre and content. Super Rock Band ‘The Foundation’ will be celebrating the culmination of the holiday on September 2nd, when it will present to all citizens and guests the latest cult project dedicated to rock musician Kiril Marichkov

The day before one of the most colorful and large folk ensembles in the country - "Thrace" will blow the audience with a bunch of beautiful performances and impressive choreography for the festive program of the city with the performance "Mother Bulgaria".

There will be two concerts at different locations on Saturday August 31st. Rock fans will be entertained at a rock pool party with rock bands White Walkers and SakaR, while Cali will sing for pop folk fans on Bulgaria Square.

The open-air favorite of all Piano Bar is open on Friday, August 30, at Poetry Square, where iconic Kamino Band musicians and Seven Drops winner Stefan Ilchev will perform favorite songs from popular Bulgarian music.

Of course, this year the Dimitrovgrad municipality continues the tradition of offering its citizens films from the golden fund of Bulgarian cinema in the "Summer Cinema" project. The unforgettable movie "The Master" with the talented actor Kiril Gospodinov will be showed on August 29 on Poetry Square.

A little earlier this evening, in the central alley, Dimitrovgrad Brass Band will present a film-themed concert to their fellow citizens. The stage at Maritza Park will be a venue for the laureates of various international and national folklore festivals from community centers and retirement clubs.
Sports lovers will compete in football, tennis, Canadian wrestling and streetball tournaments, while those who love the spectacle and adrenaline will be able to enjoy an attractive moto show with stunts.
The book "The Magic Shooter" for football legend Peter Zhekov will be presented at the City Library, and the History Museum will show the National Polytechnic Museum's exhibition "Technique at Home in the First Half of the 20th Century."
The "Petko Churchuliev" Art Gallery will open the exhibition "Dimitar Kazakov - Nero", and on the "Poetry" square will be positioned an exhibition for Penyo Penev under the slogan "When the Foundations Lay".

For the youngest, there will be a big Children's Party with a cake on Sunday morning, September 1st, from 10.30 a.m., the Central alley along Bulgaria Blvd.
