JUNE 1ST – INTERNATIONAL CHILDREN'S DAY IN DIMITROVGRAD - PROGRAMME
The municipality of Dimitrovgrad has prepared a diverse program for children under the motto "Healthy and happy", dedicated to International Children’s Day – June, 1st. The events start on May 30, at 9.30 a.m. and 10.30 a.m. in the summer reading room of the City Library, where the children from kindergartens will watch the theater performance "Aladdin".
After that, Origami workshop will start in the City Art Gallery "Petko Churchuliev ", 11:00 - 12.00 a.m. and 4:00 - 5:00 p.m., where children will be able to make different paper figures based on the ancient Japanese art of Origami. The materials for them were specially sent by Mrs Yuliana Antonova-Murata.
The city celebration starts at 17.30 along the Central Avenue on Bulgaria Blvd. and Poetry Square, where various workshops, activities and colorful balloons will be specially prepared for the children of Dimitrovgrad for the holiday. There will be an exhibition of arranged fruits and vegetables, prepared by the graduates of the local Professional High School "Prof. Dr. Asen Zlatarov ". Fun yoga, "Zvezdoznaykovtsi" workshop, different entertaining workshops and animation activities will surprise the children and their parents. The organizers have prepared also Ice cream house and face painting. The graduates of the Model Club Dimitrovgrad will demonstrate their skills in the management of small vessels in the fountain in front of the stage on Poeziya Square. For the little ones, a cozy and beautiful corner is provided for coloring drawings with fruits and vegetables. Cheerful photos and great fun with dance and music by the performers of the Children's and Youth Center on the stage await the children for the holiday.
