A GIFT SET FOR EVERY CHILD IN GRADE 1ST IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF DIMITROVGRAD
My First Picture Atlas of the World, a school schedule form, a photo frame with a magnet, a badge and a medal will be given to every first grader on September 15 in Dimitrovgrad Municipality. The gift sets is the initiative of the mayor Mr Ivo Dimov and is realized for the eleventh year in a row. He has also prepared and a special address to the young students. This year, 377 children in the municipality of Dimitrovgrad will cross the school threshold for the first time.
Traditionally, the choice of a book has an educational character - a popular Bulgarian author or a publication with which the little ones can get to know the world. The Atlas is a well illustrated book that enriches children's knowledge and skills in a fun way. It presents the continents, important natural landmarks and facts about the countries and peoples around the world. It gives the first idea of basic geographical concepts and forms skills for working with geographical maps. It entertains with games and tests, stimulating their interest in learning.
