THE PARK NEAR THE MUNICIPAL HOSPITAL IN DIMITROVGRAD HAS BEEN COMPLETELY RENOVATED WITH A DONATION
The Municipality of Dimitrovgrad has completed the renovation of the park near the city hospital where the chapel ‘St. Ekaterina’ is located. The reconstruction has transformed the space into a modern, safe and welcoming place for playing, relaxing and walking. As part of the renovation, the children's facilities have been completely replaced, 30 new benches have been installed, as well as new energy-saving lighting and a video surveillance system.
The playground is divided into two age zones - for children from 0 to 3 & for children from 3 to 12. The children's facilities, flooring and benches have a total value of 30,830.40 euros and were provided as a donation by GREEN SOLAR ENERGY EAD. The Municipality of Dimitrovgrad expresses its gratitude to the company for the donation. Such examples of social commitment show that through a partnership between the local authorities and business, significant projects can be implemented for the benefit of the residents.
The Municipal Firm ‘Blagoustroyavane’ prepared the terrain and replaced the lighting with new energy-saving lighting fixtures worth 2,660 euro. After the repair, the fountain which was placed there several years ago, is also functioning again and continues to be available to the residents and guests of Dimitrovgrad.
The renovation of the park is part of the municipal policy for improving the public spaces and turning them into more comfortable urban environment.
