ANOTHER RENOVATED BLOCK IN DIMITROVGRAD ON 15 PROSTOR ST. WAS OPENED TODAY
Today, the renovated apartment block on 15 Prostor St. was officially opened. This was done together by the Deputy Mayor of Dimitrovgrad Municipality Mr Yasho Minkov and the Manager of the Association of Owners of the Multi-Family Residential Building Mr Aleksandar Kiferov. The official ceremony was also attended by the project manager Ms Anka Hristova, representatives of the contractor company, journalists, residents of the renovated block and citizens.
At the final press conference, the project manager, Ms Hristova reported on the activities carried out under the project: ‘A lot of work has been done and the results are visible. I am happy to report that we met the deadline for its implementation, which is until 30.06.2026. The total cost of the project is 600,712.15 euro including VAT, of which 501,721.71 euro - a grant under the Recovery and Resilience Mechanism, 98,376.89 euro - from the budget of the Republic of Bulgaria, and 613.55 euro - own contribution. The project was implemented under the Operational Program National Recovery and Resilience Plan, priority axes Low Carbon Economy, procedure "Support for Sustainable Energy Renovation of the Residential Building Stock - Stage I, with contract number BG-RRP-4.023-0171. The managing body is the Ministry of Regional Development and Public Works. The lead partner is the Municipality of Dimitrovgrad, and the final recipient is the Association of Owners of 15 Prostor St.’ She reported all the construction work in details.
The Deputy Mayor of Dimitrovgrad Municipality Yasho Minkov added that this is another residential block that the municipality of Dimitrovrad is renovating to improve the quality of life of its citizens. He announced that 15 more blocks have been set for renovation under the Concept for Integrated Territorial Development.
The manager of the the association of owners, Mr Kiferov, expressed gratitude on behalf of the residents for the repairs carried out.
"This winter was one of the rainiest in years, but thanks to the well-done work, the roof was repaired and the leaks were stopped. The teamwork with the contractor and the municipality was very well coordinated and everything regarding the renovation was done as it should be. All residents of the building are grateful for the quality of the work carried out and the final result of them," Kiferov told the media representatives and journalists.
