TAXES FOR 2025 CAN BE PAID AFTER JANUARY 28th
Dimitrovgrad Municipality informs the citizens that after January 28, 2025, the local tax can be paid. Notices of local taxes and fees due to Dimitrovgrad Municipality will be printed and distributed by Bulgarian Posts EAD by March 1, 2025.
In 2025, the vehicle tax, patent tax, tourist tax, tax on taxi transportation of passengers and household waste tax remain unchanged.
The real estate tax has been changed from 2 per mille to 3 per mille and the tax on acquisition of property - from 2.5 percent to 3 percent.
Real estate tax, municipal waste tax, and vehicle tax shall be paid within the following deadlines, as follows:
First installment - by 30.06.2025
Second installment - by 31.10.2025
Those who have pre-paid the tax, shall receive a 5 percent discount on the tax due.
Patent tax shall be paid in four equal installments, as follows:
For the first quarter - by 31.01.2025
For the second quarter - by 30.04.2025
For the third quarter - by 31.07.2025
For the fourth quarter - by 31.10.2025
Tax on taxi transportation of passengers - paid once before obtaining a permit under Art. 24a, para. 1 of the Road Transport Act.
Tourist tax - by the 15th of the month following the month in which the overnight stays were provided.
The same can be paid as follows:
- cash or by card: - at the cash desks of the Revenue Department, Dimitrovgrad Municipality, located at the address: Dimitrovgrad, 13 G.S.Rakovski Blvd. 13 - west/ground floor/;
- at the cash desks of Easypay AD in the country;
- by postal order for tax payment: - at a post office of Bulgarian Posts EAD
- by bank transfer: - to the account of the Municipality of Dimitrovgrad in EUROBANK BULGARIA AD, IBAN: BG07BPBI79268465363501, BIC: BPBIBGSF
