FINANCIAL SUPPORT OF BOOK PUBLISHING BY THE MUNICIPALITY OF DIMITROVGRAD ’2024
Pursuant to Ordinance No 41 on ‘The terms and conditions for financial support of book publishing in the Municipality of Dimitrovgrad’, the Municipal Administration announces a competition for financial support of book publishing for the current year to local authors in the fields of poetry, fiction, history and culture.
The financial support for book publishing is provided in the following areas:
1. Fiction - poetry collection, novel, collection of short stories, drama, children's book;
2. Literary studies - literary history, monograph, criticism;
3. Field of history, culturology, local knowledge about folklore;
Rights to apply for financial support have:
1. persons;
2. community centers and legal entities with non-profit purpose;
Applicants must meet the following conditions:
1. permanent address registration in the municipality of Dimitrovgrad (for persons);
2. address of management on the territory of the municipality of Dimitrovgrad (for the community centres and the non-profit legal entities);
3. the proposal not to have been financially supported under the same Ordinance for the last two years;
4. the proposal not to have been awarded under other local or national financial support for the same project;
5. the applicant cannot apply for more than one project;
6. no funds are allocated for republishing;
7. expenses for presentation, advertising and book distribution of the publication are not eligible.
The candidates submit the set of documents to the Municipal Administration Dimitrovgrad, Rakovski 15 Blvd., Front Office for Administrative Services, Desk №1:
- Application form;
- Manuscript of the project;
- Annotation of the work;
- Creative CV data of the candidate;
- Notarized power of attorney (if necessary);
- Declaration that the project has not been issued and published for the last two years;
- Project budget;
- Expected financial support;
