MUNICIPALITY OF DIMITROVGRAD LAUNCHES PROJECT FOR INSTALLATION OF PHOTOVOLTAIC SYSTEMS IN FIVE SOCIAL SERVICES
The Municipality of Dimitrovgrad has launched a project "Installation of photovoltaic systems in social services, a state-delegated activity and purchase of electric vehicles, including connected charging stations for the provision of social services" in implementation of investment BG-RRP-13.009-0029 under a contract with the Ministry of Labor and Social Policy.The information was announced to the public at an opening press conference today by the project manager Eng. Klavdiya Toncheva. The Deputy Mayor of Dimitrovgrad Municipality Yasho Minkov also participated in the press conference.
The project is worth 474,845.50 BGN, of which 395,704.59 BGN from the Ministry of Social Affairs and 79,140.91 BGN value added tax, non-refundable, according to the Value Added Tax Act, due for the implementation of the activities and 0 BGN own contribution. The project will provide the delivery and installation on three buildings, in which four social services, delegated by the state, are provided, of photovoltaic systems with a capacity ranging from 15 kW to 30 kW for each social service, to meet their own energy consumption needs. One electric vehicle and a connected charging station, each with a capacity of at least 22 kW, will be purchased for the purposes of providing social services. The scope of the project provides the installation of photovoltaics for use by the Day Center for Children with Disabilities, Day Center for adults with disabilities, Crisis Center for persons (adults/parents and children) victims of domestic violence and trafficking, Day Center for children with disabilities (with Early Intervention for Disabilities program) and Family-type Accommodation Center for adults with dementia.
