MUNICIPALITY OF DIMITROVGRAD SIGNS AGREEMENT TO PROVIDE OVER BGN 58 MILLION UNDER THE CONCEPT FOR INTEGRATED TERRITORIAL INVESTMENTS
The Concept for Integrated Territorial Investments of the Municipality of Dimitrovgrad has been approved and we are expecting an invitation to sign a Grant Agreement, said the Mayor of the Municipality of Dimitrovgrad, Mr Ivo Dimov, at a press conference today.
"The total value of the objects included in the concept is BGN 58,508,281.00. The objects of intervention, according to the Concept, which are to be implemented in the municipality of Dimitrovgrad are the repair and renovation of the municipal road Merichleri - Dimitrovgrad /Mariyno quarter/ - Bryast - Zdravets – Stransko for BGN 15,000,000; improving the condition of the green infrastructure, elements of the urban environment and inter-block spaces in Dimitrovgrad for a total value of BGN 9,945,000. The concept also includes the introduction of energy efficiency measures for renovation and reconstruction of the "House of Arts" for BGN 3,500,000; major renovation of the school in Merichleri for BGN 3,000,000; major renovation and energy efficiency measures of the Lilia Primary School, Iztok district, for BGN 2,500,000; renovation and modernization of the Prof. Dr. Asen Zlatarov Vocational School for BNG 1,267,081.00; as well as activities at the municipal hospital, which include the construction of a photovoltaic power plant for its own needs; renovation of the southern yard, modernization of the equipment for the offered medical services, building on the implemented project for the development of telemedicine. The total cost of the activities in the hospital is BGN 2,200,000. The concept of the Dimitrovgrad municipality also provides for the development and improvement of the social infrastructure - construction of a Center for Residential Care for BGN 2,000,000, and development and improvement of the social infrastructure - Community Center for Early Childhood Development for BGN 3,000,000. In the Cultural Infrastructure Fund section, BGN 2,750,000 is provided for the cultural infrastructure. In the field of the educational infrastructure, inclusive education and educational integration is provided for a total of BGN 750, 000, and development of the dual training system in partnership with Prof. Dr. Asen Zlatarov Vocational High School for a total of BGN 750,000. The social activities in the concept include integrated support in providing care in early childhood for families of children with disabilities for a total of BGN 390,000, social services in a home environment for people with disabilities, the elderly and people unable to self-serve for a total of BGN 2, 200, 000," added Mr Dimov about the expected project funding.
