NO CASE OF CORONAVIRUS REGISTERED IN DIMITROVGRAD MUNICIPALITY
There are no registered cases of COVID-19 on the territory of Dimitrovgrad municipality until now!
During the weekend, two patients with bronchopneumonia and suspected coronavirus were admitted to St. Catherine Hospital. Samples were taken and tested in the national laboratory in Stara Zagora. The results of both are fortunately negative.
299 people in the municipality are under quarantine. These are not sick people, but those who are monitored for symptoms. No fines imposed.
For the medical staff, which is exposed to a high risk of infection, the municipality has provided:
Antibacterial protective clothing and helmets were delivered to the medics at St. Ekaterina Hospital. We expect delivery of professional respiratory masks with degree of protection FFP2 tomorrow.
We have ordered bactericidal lamps against viruses and bacteria, which will be placed indoors, where they are used by many people. This will increase prevention in the domestic public environment.
We have provided disinfectants, protective helmets and masks for all general practitioners in the municipality. They will be delivered to their offices tomorrow.
We remind you again that from tomorrow, April 7, to April 23, our senior citizens will receive their pensions. They will be served as a priority in the post office and at ATMs until 12 o'clock. I invite the other citizens to comply with their visits to these places and to do so after 12.30. Thank you all for your understanding!
5 trial proceedings have been instituted for violating the quarantine. 9 are the acts drawn up during the past week.
Inspections of parks, playgrounds and sports grounds and areas where there should be no crowds continue. The fines for the first violation are BGN 300. with the second violation BGN 1,000. Do not do it because of the fines, but because it is a responsibility to your own life and the lives and health of the people around you.
