MUNICIPALITY OF DIMITROVGRAD WITH A NEW PROJECT FOR FINANCING THE DESIGN OF RECONSTRUCTION OF TWO BUILDINGS FOR SOCIAL SERVICES
Municipality of Dimitrovgrad won a project under the European Urban Development Mechanism (European City Facility - EUCF), through which the design of the reconstruction of two buildings for new social services will be financed.
Within the framework of the project activities, an investment concept will be prepared for energy efficiency, reconstruction, reconstruction and renovation of two buildings, which will be converted into a center for adults with permanent disabilities (with a capacity of 8 users) and for elderly people unable to self-service (with a capacity of 12 users). The other building will be designed as a Family-type Accommodation Center (with a capacity of 30 users).
Only 6 municipalities from Bulgaria have been approved for support under the EUCF mechanism.
The approved municipalities receive a lump sum of up to EUR 60,000 to develop investment concepts for renewable energy or energy efficiency projects as an initial step to the full business plan package for different financial mechanisms – EFSI, ESIF and PDA or national programs.
