THE CITY ART GALLERY ‘PETKO CHURCHULIEV’ CELEBRATES ITS 60TH ANNIVERSARY ON MAY 20, 2022
The city art gallery, named of Petko Churchuliev, has its 60th anniversary during May. In the years, it is one of the significant cultural centers not only for Dimitrovgrad, but also for the region. Its rich fund collection of paintings and fine arts exceeds the scale of municipal gallery.
The official anniversary ceremony shall take place on May 20, 2022, Friday with the emblematic exhibition between the teams of the local gallery and Department ‘Posters and Visual Arts’ of National Art Academy – Sofia, represented by Prof. Dr. Nenko Atanasov and several students.
‘Trade Mark – Dimitrovgrad and Haskovo’ is a collection of signs and brands, logos and labels, created in the beginning of 1960s to the end of 1990s of the last 20th century. The authors are Bulgarian graphic designers, who have realized their art production for local industry plants and institutions on diversified occasions for the purposes of a lot of cultural events.
On the official ceremony, the managing team of Churchuliev Art Gallery will present the new logo of Retro Apartment, created by Prof. Dr. Nenko Atanasov.
For the birthday party of the gallery, the organizers have prepared a cake and balloons with the support of the musicians of Brass Band Dimitrovgrad.
