A CULINARY FESTIVAL THIS SATURDAY IN THE VILLAGE OF STALEVO
Culinary festival, dedicated to our ancestors, the spirit of traditions and faith in God, will gather for the fourth time in the village of Stalevo the best masters from the community centers of the Dimitrovgrad municipality, guests from Nedelino municipality and students from the local professional high school. The event will take place on Saturday, September 16, at 10:00 a.m. on the square in front of the community center in the village. More than 80 dishes are expected to be presented in the delicious competition organized by the Vasil Levski 1929 Community Centre. The culinary exhibition, which aims preserving the traditions of authentic cuisine, has a competitive nature in the next four categories: Breads and Pastries; Meals; Bulgur; and Sweet Delights. The best prepared dishes in the categories will be determined, and the winners will receive certificates and thematic awards for their efforts.
The festival is tradidional and gathers guests from all over the country. It is held annually every second Saturday in September in the village of Stalevo. The exhibition features dishes characteristic of the village and the region, inspired by delicious Bulgarian traditions.
This year, the guests of the event will be able to try dishes from Greek and Turkish cuisine, which will complement the variety of tastes.
