THE MAYOR OF DIMITROVGRAD MUNICIPALITY MR IVO DIMOV HELD A WORKING MEETING WITH THE MAYORS OF THE SMALL SETTLEMENT
The Mayor of the Municipality of Dimitrovgrad Mr Ivo Dimov held a working meeting with the mayors of the small settlements, deputy mayors and mayor’s assistants on current topics related to water supply in villages, applications for programs at the Ministry of Labor and Social Policy, infrastructure projects, household waste tax and other current topics that affect the work of the mayors of the villages. The meeting was attended by Eng Petko Stoychev – V&K Haskovo, Deputy Mayor Mr Svetoslav Stoykov, the Secretary of Dimitrovgrad Municipality Mrs Veneta Koleva, the Chief Accountant Mrs Siika Georgieva and the Financial Controller Mrs Antoaneta Dzhimova.
Mr Dimov emphasized that the main goal of the municipality is to complete the infrastructure projects on water supply to the villages and the small settlements. Currently, a tender procedure to select a contractor for the repair of the road Mariyno - Bryast - Zdravets has been opened and the expected time for the start of the actual activities on it is in early spring. The mayors were also introduced to the social programs and the opportunities for applying. Through these programs, employment for people in the small villages can be ensured.
