THE MAYOR OF DIMITROVGRAD MUNICIPALITY Mr. IVO DIMOV AWARDED THE WINNERS IN THE "MAGIC OF CHRISTMAS" COMPETITION
The Mayor of Dimitrovgrad Municipality Mr Ivo Dimov awarded the winners in the competition ‘The Magic of Christmas’ for decorating a thematic Christmas corner in a school, kindergarten and centers providing social services for children and youth. He congratulated the participants for their creative styles and emphasized that the municipality strives to bring this beauty through the decoration of the surrounding urban environment. The mayor received gifts of attention with Christmas souvenirs made by the children with wishes for bright holidays.
Twenty-six schools, kindergartens and social centers providing social services for children and youth in the Dimitrovgrad Municipality participated in the Christmas competition for decorating a Christmas corner. The main goal is to encourage the aesthetic execution with a thematic Christmas decoration, which will create a Christmas mood throughout the holiday period. A five-member committee, appointed by the mayor of Dimitrovgrad Municipality, evaluated the participants for their cash prizes. The competition is being held for the twelfth consecutive year. The ranking, as follows:
