MAYOR MR IVO DIMOV AT A MEETING OF THE BOARD OF NAMRB
The Mayor of Dimitrovgrad Municipality, who is Deputy Chairman of the National Association of Municipalities of the Republic of Bulgaria, Mr Ivo Dimov participates in a working meeting of the Management Board of the association. The mayors of municipalities discuss today current issues of waste management in municipalities and, in particular, problems of municipalities with reimbursement of VAT costs for activities related to waste management and possible solutions. The agenda of the meeting also includes consideration of a draft Framework Agreement between NSI and NAMRB for the provision by the National Statistical Institute to the relevant municipality of census data on the number of users of services in the properties; decision on the application under the Procedure "Models for the optimization of the municipal waste management process by the municipalities in Bulgaria" under the "Environment" Program 2021 - 2027. NAMRB will also discuss its opinions on the bill for the promotion of electric mobility, the law on amendments and additions to the Law on Territorial Planning regarding the creation of an opportunity to determine the "tolerance" status of elements of the technical infrastructure, as well as adopted actions about decision related to problems with the implementation of the Law on copyright and its related rights by the municipalities.
