Mayor Ivo Dimov greeted all educational, cultural institutes and community centers in the municipality of Dimitrovgrad on the occasion of the today’s holiday.
‘I cordially congratulate you on the occasion of November 1st - the Day of the National Awakeners!
On this day we pay respect and gratitude to the guardians who have preserved the important values of the nation over the centuries.
On November 1st we celebrate contemporary Bulgarian artists, pedagogues, teachers, writers and educators, people with progressive ideas and popular ancestors. All of you have the difficult mission to keep the values and morals of the Bulgarian people, to be the spiritual support of Bulgaria.
I wish you all to be healthy and keep alive the longing for new horizons! Continue to awaken and develop the spiritual growth of the Bulgarian and to build our national self-confidence!
