IVO DIMOV WITH A PLAQUE FROM THE BULGARIAN JUDO FEDERATION
Mayor Ivo Dimov received a plaque of recognition on behalf of the Bulgarian Judo Federation for his contribution to sports. The plaque was presented by the Deputy Chairman of the federation, Mr Hristo Maev at the opening of the State Judo Championship for girls and boys (born in 2014-2016), which is taking place today and tomorrow at Mladost Sports Hall - Dimitrovgrad for the fifth consecutive year. Over 600 competitors from all 59 licensed clubs in Bulgaria are in Dimitrovgrad for the State Judo Championship.
Mayor Ivo Dimov addressed the attendees: "We have the pleasure of welcoming the State Judo Championship with special thanks for the wonderful organization of the Judo Sports Club - Dimitrovgrad and its chairman Mr Gocho Gochev, as well as the federation for the trust. I wish success to all competitors!". The tournament starts at 10.00 AM, and the entrance to the competition is free of charge.
