CHRISTMAS TREE AND SANTA CLAUS ON DECEMBER 3RD IN DIMITROVGRAD
The lights of the largest living Christmas tree in Europe will be lit by Santa Claus himself on December 3, 2022 /Saturday/, at 17.30 h, on Bulgaria Square in Dimitrovgrad. The arrival of the long-awaited guest will be impressive, because he is expected to come, driving an ATV, accompanied by his elf helpers. The Christmas tree and all the festive decorations in the city are traditionally lit at the beginning of December, creating a unique festive atmosphere among citizens. A Christmas market specially organized for the event will open its doors with interesting and themed decorations for the upcoming holidays – a bakery, a post office Christmas cards, handmade Christmas candles, thematic souvenirs made of wool and wood, cookies, delicious food and wine. Everyone who wishes will be able to take a photo in front of an attractive photo corner.
A beautiful festive program, dedicated to the spirit of Christmas holidays, will delight children and adults from the central city stage.
The big musical surprise for the audience will be the performance of Sarai Diaz from Cuba, who has lived in Bulgaria for several years.
