SANTA CLAUS COMES IN DIMITROVGRAD TO SWITCH…

Santa Claus, Christmas Market, the largest and the tallest Christmas tree in Europe and the celebration lights gather this Saturday (December 4, 2021, 17.30 h) all the citizens on the square for the traditional ceremony in Dimitrovgrad. The Christmas tree and all the festive decorations in the city will shine in early December. Specially organized Christmas market will open, offering the visitors interesting souvenirs for the upcoming holidays. Workshops, Bakeries, Photo studio, Post Office, Inn and a diverse program will welcome Santa Claus on the square in Dimitrovgrad. Local craftmen will offer handmade Christmas candles and wooden souvenirs. The Bakery will smell of freshly baked cookies and sweeties, and the Inn will offer delicious food and mulled wine. Everyone will be able to take a photo of the exciting event. Santa's mail again will be waiting for the letters with wishes of the kids. ‘The Christmas corner of grandma’ will be interesting and attractive for citizens. There, women from the municipal community centers will recreate the Bulgarian customs and the preparation for the Christmas holidays, making authentic traditional souvenirs from dogwood and natural materials.

The program on the stage will follow the spirit of Christmas time with the artistic performances of the dancers from "Galaxico" and the performance of six-year-old Ivaylo Georgiev from "Sun" Kindergarten, who will present a greeting poem to Santa Claus. The talented Nadezhda Georgieva from Dimitrovgrad will also take part in the event. A few days ago, she, together with the trio "Triolina", received a special award in the international competition "The Voice of Venice" in Italy.
