DIMITROVGRAD CELEBRATED 115 YEARS OF BULGARIA'S INDEPENDENCE

Dozens of citizens and officials, including Deputy Mayor Mr Yasho Minkov, the Secretary Mrs Veneta Koleva and municipal councilors, visited the monument of Captain Petko Voyvoda in Dimitrovgrad to mark 115 years since the proclamation of Bulgaria's Independence. The program began with performances by the Brass Band Dimitrovgrad and continued with a poetic recital with the participation of students from the local schools.
By laying wreaths and flowers in front of the monument, people expressed their appreciation for Bulgarian Independence
