DOZENS OF YOUNG FAMILIES SUPPORTED THE ECO-INITIATIVE "NEW LIFE ALLEY" AND PLANTED TREES
Dozens of young families with their children came to Maritsa Park on Palm Sunday to receive saplings, which to plant in the alley, in their yards or in spaces between blocks.
The trees were provided by Kaolin AD, which has been supporting the ecological project of the Dimitrovgrad Municipality for 15 years.
"I am glad that we have been setting an example of how we should take care of the green environment around us. Dimitrovgrad was conceived and created as a green city, and we strive to maintain this greenery and breathe new life into it by planting more trees," said Mayor Mr Dimov.
He presented certificates and souvenir magnets to the children. Balloons and a friendly hug with a puppet- bear added the mood during the initiave.
