PATRIOTIC INITIATIVE FOR THE CELEBRATION OF THE FIRST OF NOVEMBER
The Municipality of Dimitrovgrad continues the tradition to support the spirit of pride for all the citizens. 19 art panels with the images of popular educational workers and art creators have been located around the central city avenue. The project is dedicated to November 1, a celebration of Bulgarian cultural and educational workers. Among them, the walkers can see the faces of great Bulgarians with significant contribution to the National history and literature.
This year, the list has been added with the names of: Paisii Hilendarski, Konstantin Preslavski, the kings Simeon and Boris, Sofronii Vrachanski, Ivan Vazov, Hristo Botev, and many others.
The idea has been supported by the Municipality of Dimitrovgrad for the fouth time this year, with the hope to be developed in the future. So, on the arcs of the central city boulevard, people can see several from the most significant historical persons, who dedicated their life to literature, Slavic culture, and the national spirit.
