FREE BUSSES FOR ALL SOULS DAY PROVIDED BY THE MUNICIPALITY OF DIMITROVGRAD
All Souls Day (Feb 14, Saturday) is one of the three greatest ones according to the Orthodox calendar. It is the day on which we pay respect to our dead relatives, praying for their souls and lighting a candle. Traditionally, the municipality of Dimitrovgrad provides free transport for All Souls Day. Free buses will conduct the familiar schedule, serving the lines throughout the day, for the convenience of citizens who wish to visit the New and the Old Cemetery Parks. ‘The cemetery parks have got a new video surveillance system in order to prevent vandalism, new facilities and water taps which make them among the best maintained in the country’, reported the manager of ‘Trauren Obreden Dom’ Mrs Slaveya Mihailova. The Municipality of Dimitrovgrad calls on citizens to observe order and keep clean by disposing of waste in the designated garbage containers.
