THE RECIPE ‘DUCK WITH APPLES’ WITH 150-YEAR TRADITION PREPARED BY 92-YEAR-OLD WOMAN WAS AWARDED BY CHEF IVAN ZVEZDEV AT THE EVENT ‘CHRISTMAS TABLE 2025’
Dozens of residents and guests gathered on the central square for the thirteenth edition of the Christmas Table Culinary Competition ‘2025. 220 types of dishes, appetizers and wines, as well as 183 participants competed in the culinary festival. The leader of the jury was the master chef Ivan Zvezdev who evaluated the most delicious dishes in the various categories.
The subject prizes and certificates were provided by the Municipality of Dimitrovgrad. Authentic customs from the Bulgarian way of life, spinning wool, knitting with two and five hooks, were presented in front of the festival attendees by women from the local community centers. 1000 portions delicious beans with sausage were prepared by chef Ivan Zvezdev specially for the Christmas festival.
