MUNICIPAL ENTERPRISE „CHILDREN AND YOUTH CENTRE’’ DIMITROVGRAD

Municipal enterprise ,,Children and Youth centre’’ (CYC) is a structure with major activities in the socialization of children and young people. It provides opportunities and extracurricular forms for fun and learning, non-formal and civic education. We invest on the young’s and we pay attention to their voices, as an essential source of new ideas, creativity and artistic expression. MECYC is a local public authorities with main purpose of extracurricular activities, cultural events, intercultural activities.

OUR MISSION

to deflect the interests of children and youth from, providing various forms of extracurricular and out-of-school activities;
to develop additional skills, knowledge and competencies, participating in the Center's activities;
to organize different youth initiatives and missions;
to understand and engage the students' leisure time
to support and encourage children and young people to act personally;
to curb the aggressive and negative behavior of young people;
to motivate children to work and have fun in a team;
to provide a stage for expression of the talented children and youth , organizing festivals, competitions, happenings, volunteer initiatives, youth exchanges, etc.
to provide challenging intercultural learning experiences for young people.
to promote intercultural understanding, equality of opportunity, tolerance and peace among people in the world
